I'm a drummer from Warsaw, Poland. Currently based in Gdansk.

 

I co-create the Polish-Norwegian PESH quartet, the electronic jazz-rock Ninja Episkopat, and the award-winning Polish-Ukrainian female band O.N.E. She is also engaged in numerous other projects, including the Øyvind Mathisen Trio and Björg Blöndal C4THERINE, and frequently establishes new collaborations with various European artists.

I have played with various artists, including Paal Nilssen-Love, Trygve Seim, Arve Henriksen, Per-Åke Holmlander, Anne Efternøler and Axel Dörner.

I regularly perform on Polish and European jazz stages, occasionally also beyond her native continent (Uzbekistan, Greece, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Denmark, Germany, Ukraine, Hungary, Czech Republic, Belgium, Ukraine, The Netherlands, Spain and more).

She also took part in many other musical projects ( e.g. the performance at the Oslo Jazz Festival with Paal Nilssen Love’s “Large Ensemble”). Patrycja has recorded 13 albums in various line-ups. She also hosts, together with Kamila Drabek, her broadcast, "Rozmowy Przegrane", on the Internet radio JAZZKULTURA.

 

She performs in jazz and avant-garde scenes, and her inspirations mainly come from avant-garde, improvised, classical music, Polish folk and broadly defined Scandinavian jazz.

I began my musical education in Warsaw, completed my studies at the Krzysztof Penderecki Music Academy in Kraków, graduated from the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, and am currently pursuing a Master's degree at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk.
